This film by recent UA grad Roberto Gudino tells the story of a group of young Latino journalists who shocked the newspaper industry when they won a Pulitzer Prize in 1984 with their LA Times series entitled "Southern California's Latino Community." They were the first Latinos to ever win a Pulitzer.
Below the Fold is a production of the Media, Democracy, and Policy Initiative which was developed in 2004 with the UA College of Humanities Dean Chuck Tatum.
Featured speakers include MDPI Director Olga Briseno, film maker Roberto Gudino, and Pulitzer Prize winning journalists Frank Sotomayor, Virginia Escalante, George Ramos, Louis Shogun, and Nancy Rivera Brooks.
