Returning from combat in Viet Nam, ace helicopter pilot Don Kirchner faces another kind of war. His small flying business is crippled by a global recession and panicked investors. Desperate to find a way to pay his bills and support his two young children, he is lured into the fast money promises of the drug trade.
Once in the web of the drug lords, he cannot get out. His misadventures and near calamities end with his capture by Federal Agents. He is set up to take the rap for the bosses, and faces a long prison term if he doesn¿t cooperate with authorities.
