30 Minutes- SB 1070 Two Years Later Opposition continues two years after the passage of SB 1070. by Amanda Shauger Tucson, Arizona Local human rights activists gathered at the Arizona State Building in Tucson on Wednesday, April 25th, 2 years after Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed SB 1070 into law. Meanwhile the Supreme Court was hearing arguments on SB 1070 to determine whether provisions blocked by Federal Judge Susan Bolton would remain standing. Critics of the bill say it legalizes racial profiling. The bill's proponents say that Arizona's law helps support federal law.
