On Wednesday, July 17th, The Pima County Juvenile Justice Task Force on Racial and Ethnic Disparities held an Ally and System Stakeholder Reception at the Pima County owned El Banco Building, 801 West Congress.



The Pima County Task Force's responsibility is to educate the community about the juvenile justice system and the policies that impact our youth; ensuring that all stakeholders are held accountable for all system youth to become healthy productive members in their community.



At the reception, task force leaders spoke about the issues surrounding youth incarceration and steps that are being taken right here in Pima County. Speakers include: Pima County Supervisor Richard Elias, whose office co-hosted the reception with the Pima County Juvenile Justice Task Force on Racial & Ethnic Disparities, followed by special guest Pima County Juvenile Court Center Presiding Judge Karen Adam.
