50 walkers concluded the 6th Annual Migrant Trail: We Walk for Life on Sunday, May 31 in Kennedy Park with testimony from their experiences.
Participants spent 3 days of the walk on the Buenos Aires Wildlife Refuge. The 7 day, 75 mile trek from Sasabe, Sonora, Mexico to Tucson, Arizona focused attention on the thousands of migrant deaths that have occurred on the US- Mexico Border since the 1990s when border enforcement policies shifted migrant corridors to increasingly remote locations.
