30 Minutes- Neighbors Helping Neighbors
With the continued specter of budget cuts, Armory Park residents unite to form Neighbors Helping Neighbors. 30 Minutes features a conversation about a new program called Neighbors Helping Neighbors forming in Armory Park with Robin McArdle-Landers and George Mairs. McArdle-Landers is the Armory Park Senior Center Supervisor and Mairs is an Armory Park Neighborhood resident and one of the organizers of Neighbors Helping Neighbors. The Armory Park Center serves Tucsonans who are 50 years of age or older.

The program seeks to unite people in the neighborhood who may require assistance with volunteers who are able to help out so that all may have a more rewarding quality of life. More information on the program is available by contacting Robin McArdle-Landers at robin.landers@tucsonaz.gov or by phone at 520-791-4865.

Similar programs exist in Tucson such as the Lend A Hand program in central Tucson.
