Mary Robinson recounts her life in Moisture of the Earth. by Amanda Shauger Civil Rights and Textile Union Activist Mary Robinson was in Tucson to promote Moisture of the Earth. Moisture of the Earth is the culmination of a 23 year oral history project with Tucsonan Fran Leeper Buss which traces Mary Robinson's Life from the daughter of tenant farmers to her roll as a union activist in the deep south.
