30 Minutes- Migrant Trail 2009 Press Conference The 6th Annual Migrant Trail: We Walk for Life press conference. by Amanda Shauger Organizers of the 6th Annual Migrant Trail: We Walk for Life convened a press conference on May 20, 2009 in advance of the 7 day, 75 mile trek from Sasabe, Sonora, Mexico to Tucson, Arizona. The walkers want to focus attention on the thousands of migrant deaths that have occurred on the US- Mexico Border since the 1990s when border enforcement policies shifted migrant corridors to increasingly remote locations.

Speakers include Jodi Read, Lil Mattingly, Father Bob Carney, Brother David Buer, Jim and Maureen Marks, Sebastian Quinac, Isabel Garcia and Kat Rodriguez.
