Emily Lacy's cinematic folk soundscapes come to STL Contemporary Art Museum
Mixing elements of traditional folk music together with technology, tape loops, film, and other media she creates a sound that is both familiar yet hard to place.
She has performed in exhibitions at MOMA, The Whitney Museum of American Art, and will be performing from 1-3PM at the St. Louis' Contemporary Art Museum.
Lacy explained her philosophies about making music and art to St. Louis Public Radio's Adam Allington.
