Lews & Clark Bicentennial
(2004-03-16)
(KPLU) - Southwest Washington is angling for a bigger slice of the Lewis and Clark bicentennial bonanza. Governor Gary Locke has dedicated a remodeled and expanded interpretive center at Cape Disappointment. It's just one in a chain of planned visitor enhancements at the mouth of the Columbia River. Area residents and merchants are also excited by the possibility that they may host America's next new national park. KPLU's Tom Banse has more from Long Beach. 2:48 © Copyright 2012, KPLU
