Illinois budget deadline brings chaos, exhaustion

CHICAGO (St. Louis Public Radio) - Illinois' budget expires Tuesday. And this time of year usually brings chaos to the state capitol.

Politicians toss around threats, tout conflicting budget numbers, and stage competing press conferences. And it has become exhausting for the 13 million Illinoisans caught in the middle.
