(2008-12-12)
(St. Louis Public Radio) - The St. Louis police department has suspended two officers without pay following their indictment on conspiracy, theft and drug charges.

Federal officials unsealed the indictment against Crime Suppression Unit officers Vincent Carr and Bobby Lee Garrett on Friday. They are accused of, among other things, falsely arresting an individual on drug and weapons charges, and lying about where they had found evidence in the case. Both men are also charged with dealing marijuana, and Garrett allegedly stole about $34,000 in cash and drug sale assets © Copyright 2012, St. Louis Public Radio
