Foreclosures hit St. Louis investment properties

ST. LOUIS, MO (St. Louis Public Radio) - There are over 7,000 properties currently in foreclosure in St. Louis County alone.

But, its not just individual families who are defaulting on loans they can't afford.

More and more, communities point to overextended real estate speculators as compounding the issues of vacant housing stock and eroding tax revenue.
