(kwit) - SIOUX CITY, Iowa - Aug. 12, 2008 - Grading at the Riverside Boulevard interchange with Interstate 29 is scheduled to begin today, Aug, 12, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation's Sioux City construction office.

The work will involve grading the new bridge berms and ramps for the interchange. The contractor may close one lane in each direction on Interstate 29 during working hours. Traffic on Riverside Boulevard may also be impacted.

Peterson Contractors Inc. of Reinbeck is the contractor on the $3.3 million project. The contractor plans to complete the project by the end of November.

Motorists are urged to drive with caution and to obey posted signs in the construction area.
