KWIT-KOJI TO PRESENT AREA MUSIC HIGHLIGHTS
(2008-07-01)
(kwit) - KWIT-KOJI FM90 Public Radio will present concerts of The Sioux City Symphony Orchestra, Cherokee Symphony Orchestra, Siouxland Master Chorale and Sioux City Chamber Music Series and All-America Concert Band as part of the KWIT-KOJI Summer Classical Series airing on Saturdays at noon beginning in July.

The series, hosted by FM90 General Manager Gretchen Gondek, will highlight local and regional classical performances recorded during the 2007-08 concert season. This underscores our commitment to support the performing arts on a local level. Gondek said. We are proud to provide this unique, local service to our listeners with broadcasts that span the vast spectrum of live musical performances in our area. The summer series replaces From the Top with Christopher O'Riley.

Other enhancements to FM90's program line-up beginning in July will include broadcasts of Jazz at Lincoln Center and Piano Jazz which replaces Mountain Stage on Monday evenings from 8 to 10 p.m.

For a complete schedule of FM90's programming line-up visit our program guide link above, or call 712-274-6406. KWIT-KOJI is located on the campus of Western Iowa Tech Community College.
