Swingtime
Robin Buchanan
FM90's Swingtime show embraces considerable territory. In addition to memorable tunes written by early jazz musicians, you'll find everything from big band, classic Broadway shows, film scores, and Tin Pan Alley tunes that are part of the Great American Songbook.
Swingtime also includes tunes written by contemporary performers...singers and songwriters that explore the same classic vein as did the Gershwins, Cole Porter, Hoagy Carmichael and others.
Swingtime is an eclectic mix of music - a live show with FM90's Robin Buchanan Monday through Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. for two hours of early jazz, swing and big band music. Click onto "playlists" at our website kwit-koji.org to learn more about Swingtime. Requests and dedications are taken each evening.

Sounds Eclectic
Nic Harcourt
Sounds Eclectic is a weekly two-hour mix of today's music that features the latest releases and live performances by headline and independent artists. Produced by KCRW/Santa Monica, Sounds Eclectic is hosted by the smart and sophisticated Nic Harcourt.
Sounds Eclectic brings listeners the best of Harcourt's weekday music show, Morning Becomes Eclectic, a program Atlantic Monthly calls "gorgeously idiosyncratic." Each week, Harcourt and his staff take the top releases, best performances, and most compelling interviews from this trend-setting show and create Sounds Eclectic. In addition to presenting hot new artists and their recordings, Sounds Eclectic also features live in-studio concerts ¿ intimate acoustic performances from singer/songwriters and fully-orchestrated bands, showcasing a rich cross-cultural mix.
It's Sounds Eclectic ¿ a high energy, high appeal program in which listeners discover emerging artists before they break elsewhere and rediscover what a masterfully juxtaposed segue can do to an old favorite tune!
