Just off a tour to Carnegie Hall, the Tulsa Children's Chorus will present their Winter Concert entitled "Folk Song Whimsy" Thursday February 28 at 7pm at College Hill Presbyterian Church, located at 712 S. Columbia Avenue, near the University of Tulsa Campus. Folks songs from varying regions and nations will be sung by the chorus of auditioned voices from the Tulsa Area, comprised of children grades three through twelve. Karen Naifeh Harmon will accompany the chorus on fiddle and violin for pieces "J'entends le Moulin", "What a Wonderful Word" and "Home on the Range". The chorus is accompanied on piano by Joanie Hatley and under the direction of Ashlee Elmore. "Folk Song Whimsy" is free and open to the public and is the Tulsa Children's Chorus fourth concert in their 2012-2013 Season "The Nature of Song".
