Colorado’s largest homegrown film festival is traveling to the North Fork Valley. On February 28, the Western Slope Conservation Center and Paradise Theater are partnering to present Mountainfilm on Tour, a collection of independent films focusing on the natural world. In town for one night only, this event will begin at 7:30pm at the Paradise Theater in Paonia.
Advance tickets can be purchased for $15 at Backcountry Bistro, the Conservation Center, (both in Paonia) or online at http://mfot-paradise.brownpapertickets.com
This program is a fundraiser for the Paradise Theater and Conservation Center, two community organizations with active grassroots projects in the North Fork Valley. The Paradise Theater recently embarked on a capital campaign to convert the historic theater to digital projection. The Conservation Center maintains a number of projects in the region, including river restoration, recycling and the Paonia River Park.
