Power Outage Planned for Areas East and North of Norwood February 12, 2014
San Miguel Power (SMPA) members living and working east and north of Norwood, Colo., may experience a power outage on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Approximately 170 members will be affected by the outage. SMPA must de-energize the power lines serving the area in order to safely upgrade a power line and replace numerous power poles.
Members living and working east and north of Norwood along the following roads will be affected: county roads Y43, 45Y, 44.5Z, U.S. HWY 145, the Raspberry area of U.S. HWY 90 and Sanborn Park.
In the event that power in the affected area is not restored before 3:00 p.m., members are asked to call SMPA at (970) 864-7311 or (970) 626-5549.
