DENVER, CO (kuvo) - The "baby guitar" with four strings was made famous around the world when it was adopted by Hawaiian musicians, and then was picked up as a novelty on vaudeville, then movies, and so on...

1960's British pop star Ian Whitcomb has made a career of the uke, just in time for the current resurgence of the instrument. It's a movement, and if you haven't seen a ukulele in concert lately, you will.
