Name that Cloud
Look up into the sky for today's Geo Quiz. The American city we're looking for today has a connection to a celestial phenomenon. It's a kind of cloud formation that doesn't yet have an official name. It resembles the turbulent surface of the ocean -- as seen from below. This kind of cloud formation was first identified by sky gazers in this Midwestern U-S city. Now, some cloud aficionados are petitioning the U-N's "World Meteorological Organization" for official recognition. If their petition is successful -- the second largest city in the state of Iowa could have a new claim to fame. That's besides straddling the Cedar River, and being known as the "city of five seasons." Name the city -- and we'll name the clouds.
