It's a kind of cloud formation that doesn't yet have an official name. It resembles the turbulent surface of the ocean -- as seen from below. This kind of cloud formation was first identified by sky gazers in this Midwestern U-S city. Now, some cloud aficionados are petitioning the U-N's "World Meteorological Organization" for official recognition. If their petition is successful -- the second largest city in the state of Iowa could have a new claim to fame.
