The University of Nevada, Reno School of the Arts presents: Justin Quinn: Not Everything Means Something and Dada Local: The Legacy of Dada Culture in Reno. This exhibition is guest curated by assistant professor Brett Van Hoesen and nine students from her spring 2014 seminar “Dada and the Anti-Art Aesthetic.” A teaching gallery connecting both exhibitions involves a partnership with the International Dada Archive at the University of Iowa. Exhibitions are open from Aug. 28-Oct. 17. An opening reception is 5:30 to 9 p.m. Aug. 28, and a closing reception will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Oct. 16. The Student Galleries South located in the Jot Travis Building is opened Tuesdays to Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment.
