Through photographs, maps and models, David Westerfield will trace the expansion of the railroads in New Mexico from the "Race for Raton Pass" to the present day Amtrak and N.M., Rail-Runner lines. We will also discuss the impact of the Santa Fe railway on the economic growth and cultural trends of Albuquerque.
