Geomorphology, the scientific study of landforms and processes that shape them, is an iconic process throughout the New Mexico landscape. Tamara M. Massong, PhD will present what shaped the Rio Grande Valley and surrounding area.

Part of the Bernalillo County Open Space Program’s ‘Naturalist Series.’ Awaken your senses to the natural world around you by observing the wondrous plants and animals in the Bosque and learn from local experts about this extraordinary ecosystem. The series takes place at Bachechi Open Space located at 9521 Rio Grande Blvd. Parking is available at the Alameda parking area. The workshops are FREE; however, space is limited and participations must register. Register online at www.bernco.gov/openspace.
