Mama’s Minerals will help kids and adults dig into fossil excavation, gold panning, cracking open geodes, and necklace making at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science. Bring in your own treasures and Mama’s Minerals’ staff geologist will help identify your rocks, minerals, and fossils. Event is free for New Mexico residents; for non-residents, museum admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $4 for children.
