This workshop will highlight how to establish and maintain healthy soil ecology. Jermaine Theragood will discuss ways of achieving a well-rounded soil structure and desired medium, soil building techniques, application of amendments and microbiology. He will also address soil care in houseplants. Jermaine works with the Santa Fe Community Farm, Dandelion Ranch and La Familia Community Garden. He has helped individuals and families grow their own food sustainably year-round through Peace Gardens.
