The Center for the Southwest announces the 2012-2013 C. Ruth and Calvin P. Horn Lecture in Western History and Culture. Dr. Ned Blackhawk, Professor of History and American Studies, Yale University, will present “The Indigenous West of Mark Twain: Samuel Clemens and American Empire, 1861-1866,” on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. in the Student Union Building, Ballroom B.

This event is FREE and open to the public. A reception will follow the lecture.
