Dr. Timothy Verstynen will confront the minds of the walking dead in his talk. Using neuroscience, he will explain how the behavior of horror-movie zombies can be understood as a series of neurological impairments. His approach to the brain's complexities helps make neuroscience more accessible to nerds and generalists alike.
