Need help getting your dog to walk nicely on a leash? Would you like your dog to walk calmly with you instead of taking you for a ride down the street? Are you tired of our dog jumping on people on walks or at your home? Attend this 1 hour workshop and learn new skills to help you enjoy taking your dog out for his daily stroll. Please, no leash-reactive, dog aggressive or people aggressive dogs. This is a one hour workshop for you and your dog. Please bring your hungry, dog-friendly dog on a 4 or 6 foot leash, and plenty of yummy treats. Class will be held in the training room of The Learning Center. Enter campus on south end by dog park. There are currently 6 slots available for this event. This event costs $10. If you have adopted with Animal Humane New Mexico then you will receive the special discounted rate of $10.
