The Coors Classic Could Return to Colorado
DENVER, CO

Some of the biggest names in cycling are behind efforts to bring the country's first international stage race back to Colorado. The Coors Classic ended in1988 after launching the careers of some of the sports greatest riders. The Governor, an enthusiastic bike rider himself, says he'll try to make it happen. But as KUNC's Bente Birkeland reports - in tight economic times, financial backing from the state is unlikely.
