Republican Delegate Discusses Her Support for McCain
DENVER, CO
(KUNC) -
Colorado Republican delegate Celeste Huber says she is "getting excited" about John McCain's candidacy and she is looking forward to the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota next week.
"As I get to know him better, I'm getting excited. I'm getting excited about his beliefs, his values, his philosophy, how he would lead this country, his experience," Huber said.
Huber initially got involved in the Republican convention when she found discrepancies between Democrat Barack Obama's rhetoric and his voting patterns, Huber said.
Huber said the most important issue for her is abortion. She will only vote for a pro-life candidate.
