The Front Range Contemporary quilters presentation of Connecting Threads: Traditional and Contemporary Quilts --sharing how traditional and contemporary quilts are connected through a common thread of history, technique, and design is closing on Sunday at the Longmont museum & Cultural Center. 303 651-8374
The Boulder Blind Caf , a community awareness event, a dinner and concert in the dark. All the waiters will be blind. A delicious vegetarian meal will be served to enliven the senses, created by Chef Marcus McCauley. Rosh and his band "One Eye Glass Broken' will be performing in the dark with a five piece string section. There will also be performances by spoken word artists from the blind community.
The Blind Caf is a benefit concert for the Boulder Guide Dog Puppy Raisers, a community of people in Boulder who spend a year volunteering, raising puppies that will be trained as guide dogs.
