CU Professor Brings Ralph Ellison's Unfinished Second Novel to Print
(2010-02-03)
(KUNC) - Ralph Ellison's 1952 book Invisible Man is considered by critics and readers to be one of the 20th century's best descriptions of the American racial divide. Ellison worked for decades on a follow up novel. But at the time of his death in 1994 he had 27 boxes of notes and no cohesive manuscript. That could have been the end of this story if it weren't for a University of Colorado English professor stepping in to finish the book. KUNC's Grace Hood has more. © Copyright 2012, KUNC
