The cost of licensed child care for two children averages about $20,000 a year in Colorado. With the economic downturn, more and more families across are applying for, and receiving, child care subsidies. In the first of a two-part series on child care, Sarah Hughes reports the increased need comes just as governments are tightening their budgets.
