Western Water Fights Could Worsen
(2009-03-02)
(KUNC) - Many water managers are beginning to warn that there isn't as much water in the Colorado River than first predicted when a longstanding compact was reached in 1922 that divvied the water up among basin states. One such person is Eric Kuhn, who heads the Colorado River Conservation District in Glenwood Springs. He's profiled in the latest edition of High Country News. KUNC's Kirk Siegler has the latest installment in our series of conversations with the writers of the Paonia-based magazine. © Copyright 2009, KUNC
