| In Tom Brokaw's book, " The Greatest Generation", he wrote about the generations who lived through the Dust Bowel, the Great Depression, and World War II. This generation then went on to build America into the great nation it is today. Brokaw writes about the common values held by this generation of duty, honor, economy, courage, service, love of family and country, and above all else, personal responsibility. Whether you are part of this generation, or have been influenced by people that were, this class will talk about the many events that shaped this generation, and provide the opportunity to share personal experiences and the important lessons learned. |
