Women at Noon Presentation: Mr. Ilan Levy Mr. Levy is the son of Holocaust Survivors. Mr. Levy was born in Israel in the town of Rohovot, ½ hour south of Tel Aviv. From the age of 11 he grew up in a kibbutz on the north end of Israel. Mr. Levy served in the Israeli military in the tank divisions. He came to the US as a tourist in 1986 and moved to Colorado in 1996. He became a citizen in 1996 and has dual citizenship. Mr. Levy was born to a father who grew up on the border of France and Germany - Bliesbruck, France. He survived the 2nd World War (Holocaust). His mother grew up in Litva, Russia (Poland). She also survived the Holocaust physically, but not mentally. He lost his Aunt and Uncle to the Holocaust. Mr. Levy's mother lost all of her immediate family in the Holocaust. Mother, Father, and 6 month old sister, Esther. She was from Vilnius, Litva (now Lithuania/Latvia). She survived by being hidden by a friend of her father, Mr. Levy's Grandfather, who was in the resistance. Currently Mr. Levy lives in Ft. Collins and owns Exodus Moving and Storage and enjoys Yoga, riding mountain bikes, and parties. Mr. Levy has four children, one of them attends CSU, Aidan. |
