The Bitterroot Classic Triathlon is a sprint triathlon with a 750yd swim, 12mile bike ride and a 5K run. It's a fun, family-friendly community event for all ages and ability levels with some elite athletes competing too. Through a positive, uplifting and healthy sporting event, the goal is to help families in need throughout our community by supporting local organizations that work with these families,
Proceeds from the 2014 Triathlon go to support Emma's House Children's Advocacy Center in Hamilton. Emma's House provides a safe place for children and families to talk to professionals about child abuse and neglect and helps to coordinate the investigation & intervention services with a multidisciplinary team of professionals in law enforcement, prosecution, mental health, Child & Family Services, and medicine in a child-focused approach.
