Children and the 4-day work week

Since Governor Jon Huntsman announced earlier this month that 23,000 state workers will shift to four-ten-hour work days, it's been a scramble for some employees to figure out how to make the change work. A survey this week showed that sixty-one percent of respondents indicated they preferred the new work schedule with Fridays off compared to a traditional 5-day work week. Still, more than 20 percent said the change will be inconvenient or downright impossible. And for many of those, it's for one reason: children. KUER's Jenny Brundin reports.
