Conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh and comedian Wanda Sykes made columnist John Avlon's "Wingnuts of the Week" list.

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (kuer) - Daily Beast Political Columnist John Avlon has just published a new book called "Wingnuts." But before you assume his political leanings - we should make it clear that he's taking on both parties when he writes about what he calls "the lunatic fringe." Avlon says that the unhinged activists and the paranoid conspiracy theorists on the left and the right are dominating the dialogue. Tuesday, he joins Doug to talk about how the center can stop the cycle.
