For over 40 years, Sesame Street has taught many Americans their ABCs. But the show has also focused on tolerance and diversity and now it brings that same message to over 120 countries worldwide. In South Africa there's an HIV-positive muppet named Kami, whose name means "acceptance." In Indonesia, the show is called "Jalan Sesama," "Togetherness Street." Gary Knell is President and CEO of Sesame Workshop. He's in Utah, and he joins us to talk about Sesame Street's role around the world.
