SALT LAKE CITY (kuer) - The Senate voted Tuesday to greatly expand funding for embryonic stem cell research. The vote is a direct challenge to President Bush, who ordered restricted funding in 2001 because the research destroys human embryos. But both of Utah's pro-life senators voted for the bill.
