In Focus Today
The blogging revolution
With free software and easy-to-use programs readily available on the internet, just about anyone can blog and share their daily diary of interests, links and opinions. But, a few dozen of these blogs have had a major impact - by creating news threads for mainstream media, by breaking news, and by building support for "outsider" political candidates. But blogs are more than just the latest grassroots way to mobilize for a candidate. They've become extremely influential in changing how traditional media works, and how Americans express themselves.
