Everett Ruess
(kuer) - In November of 1934, a young man walked into the wilderness of Davis Gulch in Southern Utah. Locals regarded him as likeable, but odd. He was an artist, or a poet and devoted to the beauty he had discovered. Doug Fabrizio talks to Diane Orr and Bud Rusho about the story of Everett Ruess. His art wasn't extraordinary. Neither was his poetry. His life and the mystery of his disappearance, though, have inspired and baffled thousands. (Repeat, Original Broadcast, May 22, 2001) Purchase a CD of today's RadioWest.
