(kuer) - Cities with two daily newspapers are becoming rare. Last year, the Rocky Mountain News stopped the presses and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer moved to an on-line only format. Now in Salt Lake City, there are rumors of possible lay-offs at the Deseret News. President and CEO Clark Gilbert has said the daily paper isn't going anywhere, but it seems that some changes are afoot. Monday, we're talking about the state of journalism in Utah and what newspapers are doing to survive.
