SALT LAKE CITY, UT (kuer) - Soon the mountains of Utah will be echoing with a familiar sound. The classic bugling call of the North American Elk can typically be heard from mid August and into October when males call to females during the rut. Jeff Rice has this audio postcard for the Western Soundscapes radio series.
