BEAVER DAM WASH, S. UTAH (kuer) - When you think of birdsong, you might not think of the Roadrunner. But it has a distinct vocalization that can be heard across much of the desert Southwest. For the Western Soundscapes radio series, Jeff Rice recorded a roadrunner in the Beaver Dam Wash area in southern Utah.
