Last Monday, Equality Utah held a press conference asking The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to stand by recent statements that suggested the Church was not opposed to certain legal rights for gay and lesbian citizens. Taking them at their word, Equality Utah has asked the LDS leadership to support a series several bills that would protect queer Utahans. Will the Church respond? Gena welcomes Equality Utah's Will Carlson and Keri Jones, as well as LDS member Natalie Thornley, to discuss the future of gay and Mormon relations in Utah. www.equalityutah.org
