(kuer) - Harvard Professor Thomas Forrest Kelly says Beethoven's Ninth Symphony has become the most famous piece of classical music in Western culture. But he says to really appreciate it, you have to try and hear it in the same audiences did when it was first performed in Vienna in 1824. Professor Kelly joined us in March to explain what his Ninth Symphony reveals about Beethoven's genius.
