SUBMITTING A PSA: KUER will select 6-8 calendar submissions from non-profit organizations to rotate on-air for a two-week period. PSAs are selected for on-air inclusion on the basis of community service and appropriateness for KUER’s audience. Because this is a free service to non-profits, on-air broadcast is not guaranteed. KUER reserves the right to remove material that is not conducive to FCC guidelines.
Friends of Arches and Canyonlands Parks, The National Park Service, BLM and National Parks Conservation Association are sponsoring a Graffiti Awareness Day on Saturday September 28th in conjunction with National Public Lands Day. The event begins at 9 am at the Arches Visitor Center conference room with a meeting and light breakfast. Then vans will transport volunteers to 5 different locations throughout Arches and BLM land where graffiti is most prevalent.Plan on bringing a lunch, water bottle, gloves and sunscreen.
